FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Know what’s better than one broad-spectrum gaming convention? Two broad-spectrum gaming conventions.
The LANtasy Gaming Society (LANGS) and M-Con Events Society are pleased to announce a new partnership between the two organizations. The merger will see both conventions share infrastructure and personnel to better serve eager gamers on Vancouver Island and beyond.
“Through our merging, we are bringing together a group of diverse people who are passionate about conventions,” says Jeff Pedlow, LANGS Managing Director. “Our goal is to work hand-in-hand to make both of our signature events — LANtasy and MosaiCON — bigger and better. Going forward, we will provide amazing, all-ages events for everyone to be a part of.”
Marc Gervais, General Coordinator of the M-Con Events Society, agrees. “We know that merging LANGS and M-Con Events Society’s talents and resources will increase our ability to deliver amazing events on our beautiful island.”
The new partnership also signals the first steps towards initiatives designed to run fundraisers for local charities at both LANtasy and MosaiCON. Further information on charitable partners will be released at a later date.
LANtasy 2017 takes place March 18th and 19th at Pearkes Recreation Centre in Saanich. Tickets are available now at https://www.lantasy.com. For more information, visit us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/lantasy
